Covid-19 update

So far we've not said much about Covid-19 and the pandemic that has engulfed our world.

The tragic loss of life and the debilitating effect it has on its victims is truly horrific, and our thoughts are with all those who have suffered, and are suffering, through this terrible time - especially to those who have lost loved ones to this awful virus. Truly heartbreaking.

We feel very, very, fortunate not to have been personally touched by this, so far.

Stirling was in Oman as the virus broke and started to take hold of society, and so we decided he should return to the UK as soon as possible. About 10 days after he returned, the UK went in to lockdown.

Along with the vast majority of the UK, we have been strictly adhering to the restrictions introduced in March, and will continue to do so, even though lockdown restrictions are beginning to be lifted. We will continue to be guided by the UK government's advice and, where International travel is concerned, by the FCO Travel Advice.

With the use of technology such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, we have been able to continue to provide a high-level of service to our clients and continued working on our active projects. We are also looking at ways we can contribute to the UK's post-Covid-19 economic recovery, and in particular how we can support projects that look at how businesses can adjust to the 'new normal' we are expecting to arise from the fallout of the pandemic.

We are open for business and looking at new projects both here in the UK and overseas (where we can contribute remotely, or in-country when it is deemed safe to do so).

In the meantime, please be sensible and don't put yourself or others at any unnecessary risk.

Stay safe and stay well.

From all the team at Stirling Wood Consulting Ltd
