We are delighted to be working with Sunmaker Oil and Gas Training Institute (Uganda) to deliver 5S Safety System training to a leading oil and gas producer in South Sudan.

Working in partnership with Global Education Specialists (https://www.globaleducationspecialists.com) and Proactive Safety Leadership (https://www.proactive-sl.co.uk), we are successfully delivering 5S training to all staff.

Because of Covid-19 travel restrictions, we weren't able to travel to Juba to deliver the training, so using the now-ubiquitous Zoom videoconferencing app, we were able to adapt the content and delivery to meet the client's needs. In small groups of 6-12 people, we managed to complete groups activities, show videos and discuss them, and have lively and detailed discussions and debates on how to implement and manage 5S and visual safety management across the company.

We were very pleased to see delegates leaving training discussing how they could apply what they learned to their own workspaces and within their departments.

Training was paused over the holiday period, but we look forward to continuing our partnership to complete delivery through January 2021.
